I am a person-centered, humanistic, integrative, trauma – informed counsellor and psychotherapist, currently based in Melbourne, Australia. I have practiced in the field of counselling and psychotherapy since 2011, in Australia, India and Cambodia. Along with a level 4 membership with the Australian Counselling Association, I hold a Master of Science in Applied Psychology. I have specializations in Art Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing and Trauma Informed Healing. I work with individuals, couples and families and am truly interested in what my clients have to say.
I am warm, approachable, non-judgmental and compassionate towards my clients. I believe in person-centered counselling, which means that psychotherapy is tailored and customized to the needs and personalities of my clients. I walk alongside my clients at the pace they set for me. I use a lot of creative techniques and strategies that are integrated from a number of approaches. This keeps counselling non-threatening, whilst deepening the experience and continuing to facilitate the processing of painful things in ways that are comfortable and gentle for my clients.
Through the process of counselling and psychotherapy. I work with my clients helping them achieve the goals they set for themselves, grow in love for self, build strong connections within, and as a result make meaningful connections with people around them. I teach my clients how to navigate the uncertainties of life by equipping them with resources that build resilience, provide support, warmth and the expertise necessary to deal with various complexities.
I believe in empowering my clients, therefore the experience of counselling will ensure my clients feel equipped with the inner strength and courage to make choices and take steps that fall in line with their personal goals.
